Hi again and welcome, especially to our new members. It’s great to have everyone back to enjoy another season of competitive cricket, with all three teams now in full swing involved within their own competitions.
Listed here are a few things that your committee thinks you may need to know.

Firstly we would like to introduce your committee 2008-2009 year, this being

Committee members Matt Forrest, Shane Lovell, Mike Flett

These people [and anyone that is co-opted] are here to help, so if you need any information please don’t hesitate in asking them.

Hopefully by now most of you have had a chance to hop on to our website www.united.cricketclubwebsite.com . If not, you will be surprised as Deepak has done a fantastic job with setting it up with all current news and information about the club available to you.

Subs 2008-2009
Are now due for payment as follows -
Seniors - If paid by 30th November 08 - $175.00
Thereafter - $200.00

Students - If paid by 30th November 08 - $125.00
Thereafter - $150.00
Paying your full sub on time will get you a FREE CLUB CAP. So come on guys help your club out and pay early if you can.
We do have options for those who are struggling to front up with the full sub straight away. So see your captain to find out what is available.

Food and Beverage Machine
This machine is now installed in the club house, it is coin operated. So remember to bring your gold coins with you on match day.

Gear
! First moan of the season ! Please look after the club gear, when finished with it, put it back in the gear bag.
We have had gear gone missing already and as I am sure you all understand this is very costly for your club to replace.
After match
As mentioned in the last Thumper Times, we have sponsorship with Murphy’s Law which is due to open in the next couple of weeks. So when this happens and if you are of a legal age, please help your Club by using their facilities.
We will have the use of the marquee in the garden bar area, watch this space for more up-dates.

Next Committee Meeting
Committee members are reminded that the next meeting is scheduled for Monday 1st December 2008 at the “Shed” Drury Sports Complex starting at 7:15 P.M.
If any club member wants to attend, please feel free. This is your club, so come and see how it works.
