Mudford Excels In Performing Arts

19 Aug 2009

We all know that Senior A player Matthew Mudford is a performer on the cricket field, but only a few of us would have known that he can also perform on stage. Matt's performing arts credentials came to the fore through a news item in Papakura Courier (19th August, 2009) which unfolded the fact for most of us that he, along with three other students, had won the Best Band and the Overall Winners awards at Rosehill College's Annual Talent Quest held at the Hawkins Theatre in Papakura. We, at United Cricket Club, congratulate Matt on his achievement. He can be seen in the picture on the right along with the co-winners and members of his band - clockwise from top right, Matthew Mudford, Han Choi, Esther Kim and Thomas McCarty.
