It was a great day, with the Mighty Marauders batting first, with some average hitting to begin the 20/20 challenge. The fall of Shane O'Neill's wicket at 37 saw AJ Stewart lash out and hit a great 51, before being pulled-in by Skippa Tim. With some good bowling by the Sen A members, the Marauders ended up on 123/5.
As usual, the Marauders fell wayside with their opening overs, and were down 26 runs after just 2 overs!!!!. The 3rd over saw Chris Farnell bowl at Matty Mudford, who played-on for the first wicket. The following over saw Terrence Brookes lob one up behind the wickets from Mikey "Chicken Legs" Flett, to wicket-keeper Timmy. This was the star performance of the Marauders, with Harley Bayliss (46no) and Dean Ross (37no) bringing the team home with 5.2 overs to spare.
Well done Sen A for the first challenge, and here is to the next one... watch this space !!!
