THUMPER ON THE HOP!
14 Dec 2010
Hi all,
As we are nearing the halfway point of the season I thought it would be good to have a quick review of how the club has gone so far.
Senior A's
The boys are really tracking well and looking like earning top qualifier status in the One-day competition and looking forward to the final in the New Year.
being a one-eyed United Supporter "it's looks like a minor premiership as far as I can see"
With some great individual performance which have highlighted their season so far this has had a flow-on effect with the two-day comp as well.
The Boys in Red,Black and Marone are certainly stamping their authority in this grade, "well done boys lets hope this season is one to remember".
Senior B's
The young up comers [along with a few older hands] have been running well, although not as consistent for their liking. This rabbit can see the potential in their play, they certainly don't lack commitment when it comes to giving it all to the last ball!
Take it from this bunny who's been around the warren a few times, they will be close to finals come the end of the season.
Reserves [Marauder]
These good old boys are struggling a little at the moment with lack of consistency, on paper and "on their day" they can beat anyone in this grade. trouble is they forget to read the script that's supplied.
As my Great Uncle Stumper use to say " there is more than one way to get to the carrot patch boy" and for these boys they will need to take ownership of the whole garden to qualify for their finals.
Good luck with the game planing at the Breakfast Club fellas!!
Also guys please see your captains and advise them of your availability for the start of the second half of the season in January, we are starting early than normal so the club needs to plan for this
Well that about it from me, hopefully we will see you all at the Christmas break-up at Murphys Law on Sunday and no rabbit isn't on the menu. Remember if you are wanting to win your sub's back you must be fully financial and there on the day [see web site for details]
Merry Christmas, and remember "always play the right line"
Signed Thumper......
