United Cricket Club's top team, the
Teale Metal Products Premier Twenty20 side, got a taste of top-level club cricket today with their debut at this level proving to be a "baptism by fire" for a side already weakened by the non-availability of inspirational skipper & all-rounder Harley Bayliss. In Harley's absence, vice-captain Josh Burgess took over the reins, with senior pro Matthew Forrest sharing the leadership duties with him in the 2011-12 Counties Manukau Cricket Association (CMCA) Inder-Lynch Premier T20 Tournament.
