Discount Panel and Paint Marauders Results - Puke Metro 193/10 beat United 78/10

Skippers Report: Handed the duty at breakfast club, skipper Timmy had his hands full for the opening game against Puke Metro. Losing the toss to a double headed coin....well that's my answer....Puke decided to bat first.

Off to a good start United had the home team 94/6, with some great bowling and sharp catches.
After drinks, the bowling let us down and we had a few issues which resulted in a big score being posted from the final 17 overs Puke faced.

Being set a score of 194 to win, skipper sent the young lads in to start the innings, which proved to be a learning curve to say the least. After 10 overs United were 18 without loss.

With the score at 47/3 at the 20 over mark we needed some big hitting from the remaining players. Because of this, we had a collapse of wickets, and hence lost the game.

Skipper Timmy would like to thank the team for a good first game and can see where the improvements are required for next weeks game.
