Match report Batting first at Bruce Pulman, their "adopted" home ground, United CC managed to score 85 runs before folding-up in 27 overs. Newcomer Christopher Farnell top-scored with 13, while Lawrence Minchinton (10) was the only other batsman to reach double figures. Rim (5-0-14-4) & Fly (5-0-7-3) were the main destroyers.

In reply, the Weymouth Pirates lost 5 wickets & took 29.2 overs to overtake the United CC score. For United, Graham "Freightman" Johnson was the only successful bowler, taking four wickets (8-0-16-4), while the fifth wicket was in the form of a run out effected by Anthony Mitchell.
