Match report The clouds & the sun were engaged in a game of hide & seek since early morning. The clouds got the better of the sun & opened up every now & then to drench the ground to an extent that rendered it unplayable. The two captains carried out an inspection around 12:30 pm when it was relatively dry & decided to get the match (38 overs per innings) under way at 1:30 pm, provided there was no further rain. Just before 1:30 pm, while the players were warming up, the skies opened up liberally to put an end to any leftover chances of the game being played. Considering player safety, the two captains mutually decided to call the match off & split the points. Weather was the Player Of The Day !
