United Cricket Club (Counties Manukau) Incorporated

United Cricket Club had a 100% success rate at the selection trial for the Counties Manukau Under-17 Representative Squad for winter training held at War Memorial Park on Sunday, 1st March '09 as both its attending nominees (Lawrence Minchinton & Rajat Malhotra) got selected.
Lawrie impressed the selectors with a combination of accurate & deadly fast bowling, giving all the batsmen who faced him a hard time with a spell of 4-1-6-0. Rajat had a highly effective spell of 4-2-7-1, which included a wicket-maiden, besides exhibiting his usual brilliance in the field through exceptional fielding & catching.
The third nominee from the club, Callum Jude, could not attend the trial due to illness.
