United Cricket Club (Counties Manukau) Incorporated

It is with great pride and deep satisfaction that the United Cricket Club can now announce that we are a premier club within the Counties Manukau Cricket Association.

Although our entry into the elite grade was somewhat by way of default (with the demise of the Weymouth Cricket Club to field a premier side this season) never the less out inclusion is by no means unwarranted or unplanned.
From our inception some thirteen years ago (with an amalgamation between Massey Park & Ardmore Cricket Clubs) one of our leading goals was to play in the top flight of the CMCA competitions.
Our Senior A's have performed consistently over a number of seasons and always finished in the top three of that competition (championship titles among them) certainly adds to our credentials as being a member of the top six clubs within the association.

The CMCA has guaranteed a minimum of a two years licence for us to establish ourselves within the top grade which gives continuity  going forward.
Although our early results haven't been anything to write home about, it is all about small steps and gains (initially) this season to build and become competitive.

Your committee has been working hard over the past months to put measures in place to help with our progression in regards to off-field logistics and criteria that is needed, this is just the start of many flag post we need to reach to put our club on a firm footing and a continued bright future to come
